Women of Colour in Public Services CIC and WoCiPBCH were honoured to host 25 distinguished delegates from the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prison Service, and Ghana Customs Authority during their visit to the United Kingdom, including engagements at the University of Cambridge.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary for their partnership and generosity in supporting this important programme.

We were honoured to attend the CSW70 In-Person Event hosted by UN Women UK at Tower Hamlets, a powerful gathering focused on elevating lived experience, especially the voices of women of colour, within public services. The room was energised by meaningful discussion, inspiring guest speakers including Dr Helen Pankhurst CBE and Atonte Semira, and a shared commitment to championing inclusion as essential to effective public service. The event strongly aligned with our mission, reaffirming that when women of colour are recognised as leaders and experts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.

We had an incredible evening celebrating the launch of WoCiP CIC, bringing together an inspiring mix of speakers, guests, and supporters for a truly memorable event. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as we marked this important milestone, sharing powerful stories, meaningful conversations, and a shared vision for what’s ahead. Enjoy this gallery capturing some of the standout moments from a remarkable night!
